FUR COUNCIL OF CANADA PRESS RELEASE, SEPTEMBER 23, 2005

Mark your calendar for September 27th fashion session ...

Next Season's Fur Trends to be Unveiled at Fur Council Seminar

The Fur Council of Canada is pleased to announce that Richard H., renowned Paris-based trend forecaster, will unveil his fur fashion forecast for Winter 2006-07 at a special Trend Conference for fur manufacturers, designers and retailers. His insightful interpretation of social and fashion directions will be presented to Canadian fashion industry leaders at Montreal's McCord Museum, on Tuesday, September 27th. NAFFEM exhibitors from the USA are also invited to attend.

Richard H. will present his projections in a fast-paced audio-visual presentation complemented by practical comments. Participants will preview next season's key fashion directions, silhouettes, colors, textures and treatments through dozens of photos and original sketches illustrating the new "look" of fur for F/W winter 06-07. Richard H. will also demonstrate his very own technique of translating key ideas from the Couture collections into commercial success stories. Joe Balazic of Splendor, the Canadian leader in fur processing and dyeing, will present an exhibit of new fur treatments as well as the color range forecast for Winter 2006-2007.

"The unprecedented cross-breeding of cultures presently taking place throughout the world now influences fashion and inspires a style that uses exotic influences to add value and personalize luxury products like fur," says Richard H.

This "world-class" seminar is the launch vehicle for the Fur Council of Canada's Fall-Winter 2005 communications and industry development strategy. For reservations, please contact Angela Gurley at the Fur Council office: (514) 844-1945.
