Fur Transcends Trend Status and Gets the Support of Major Fashion Voices

Tuesday April 3, 2012 (West Hollywood, CA) — Not just your garden variety “here today gone tomorrow” disposable trend, fur is once again crowned as the MUST HAVE item for fall/winter 2012-13 for both women and men.

Hailed for its warmth, comfort, durability, and versatility; the praises of fur, and its many innovative applications, are being sung by the most prominent voices in the mainstream fashion industry months before the collections even hit the stores.   With the likes of WWD– the fashion industry bible, New York Times, NBC, Harper’s Bazaar, Wall Street Journal, Glamour, NY Magazine and top Hollywood stylists all declaring their sage trend advice, consumers are boundto take notice.

Welcome news for an industry hurting from this past winter’s mild weather, the buzz in the fur industry is electric and highly optimistic.  Insiders report that there continues to be an aggressive increase in designers utilizing fur in the current collections.  Whether it is full fur garments, fur trims, accessories or linings, it is estimated that there are a reported 500 plus designers now showing some manifestation of fur.
